Walk Description: Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales and Snowdonia offers a fabulous playground for those who want to explore and gain skills invaluable for taking on our treks abroad. We look at movement on scree and spend full days on the hill meaning its an ideal way for you to test your fitness and pick up new skills.
We don't just visit Snowdon but there are other peaks such as the Glyders which holds the fabled castle of the winds. There is so much natural beauty in this area its hard to leave. Meeting in Llanberis.
Dates & Availability:
Group Bookings & minimum numbers: If you have a minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 10 we are happy to offer the trip on dates suitable to you. Guide ratio is maximum 1:10 so larger groups can be catered for if you would like to bring more people.
Fitness Level Needed: Medium, be able to walk 4-5 hours in a day and ascend 500m
Equipment: A kit list will be sent to you on booking

Day 1 Snowdon Ascent
We meet at Pete's Eats cafe at 9am to have a briefing over tea. After this we tackle the Pyg Track to climb Snowdon and will also take some time to look at the approach to Crib Goch with some movement over rocky ground.
We finish at Pen-y-pas. 10 km (5-6 hours). There is an evening briefing on our trips and what kit to bring. How you carry and pack your sack can have a big impact on how enjoyable the trek is.
Packed lunch and dinner included.
Day 2 Glyders Traverse
We pass Llynn Idwel and head up Y Garn before moving over Glyder Fawr and Fach. A big rewarding day where we take on 18km and end in the cafe.
